Bodiam Undergoes Steam Test

At last some encouraging news regarding K&ESR No.3 “Bodiam”.  The engine had a steam test today (Sunday March 18th) that included a lunchtime light engine trip from Rolvenden to Wittersham Road and back.

The engine is seen in the accompanying photograph shortly after returning to Rolvenden.

Fingers crossed; it is hoped that “Bodiam” will come out of the test satisfactorily and be fit to work next weekend.
