Services for Easter

TTT have been advised by K&ESR Engineering Manager of intended Terrier use over the Easter weekend

No.3 “Bodiam” will be in steam and available for footplate visits on Good Friday at Bodiam Station to help mark the 10th anniversary of the line reopening to Bodiam and the 110th of the opening to passengers of the original Rother Valley Railway.  Further details of Easter events are now available on the main K&ESR website.

The Red timetable runs on the first three days, including Easter Day itself.  32678 will work the Vintage train on Good Friday; a rare opportunity to see both Terriers in action on the same day.  No.3 “Bodiam” undertakes this duty on both Saturday and Sunday.

On Monday the more intensive service operates with trains every 45 minutes from 10.30am with Vintage train operation intended on the 11.15am, 1.30pm and 3.45pm from Tenterden Town.  32678 is scheduled to haul these trains.
