Terrier Running In August

K&ESR Engineering Manager Paul Wilson has been in touch with TTT with outline plans for use of “Bodiam” and 32678 during daily running over the August holiday period on the 11.45am and 2.20pm departures from Tenterden Town.

At present, the game plan is to use “Bodiam” from Saturday 21st August to Saturday 28th August or Sunday 29th inclusive with 32678 taking over on either the Sunday or the Bank Holiday Monday.  She is also lined up for the last day of the month as well as Sunday 5th September, although this will need to be confirmed as at present this is slated as DMMU operation.

32678 will also have a week’s dedicated operation from Saturday 7th August to Friday 13th.

Not only are these dates subject to the usual caveats concerning Victorian locomotives but both the timetable and formation are also subject to August passenger demand.
